General Things To Know Regarding Pre-Selection Of Seats

• This whole process of pre-selection of seats of all categories and types begins 45 days before the scheduled departure time of the flight and stops no later than 36 hours before that time. The rest of the unreserved seats are assigned to the passengers at check-in before the scheduled departure of the flight according to the registration process. 
• Seats that are located near the emergency exits, which are designated with code E in the aircraft maps, are not restricted for the following passengers:

  • Seats near the windows. 
  • Seats by the passageway. 
  • Seats preferred by the passengers in the first row of the economy class cabin. 
• Passengers who have paid for the pre-selection of the seats and bookings and want to change the date of their travel are not required to reissue the flight ticket. They must have to follow the steps mentioned below:
  • Passengers must cancel the pre-selection of the seats.
  • In the booking, they must change the departure date and save the changes. 
  • Revalidate the flight ticket with the new preferred date of travel. 
  • Pre-select the seats for the new departure date of travel and save the changes. 
  • Perform the revalidation of the EMD for the new departure date.
